GreenStar Apex is the latest desktop field mapping software from John Deere AMS. Built all new from the ground up, it includes the latest technology in mapping in a user friendly format. Here are just some of the features that Apex will bring to your farm:

Multi-client: Every copy of Apex will be multi-client capable.

Tree Structure: All data in Apex is organized in an easy to navigate format to allow you to get to the maps you want quickly and easily.

Backwards Compatibility: Apex will have the ability to unload Combine Yield Mapping files (.GSY), Field Doc and Harvest Doc files (.GSD), boundary files (.GSB), as well as any data collected with the GS2 system.

AutoTrac Row Sense

The system accurately guides the combine down the row at optimal harvesting speeds and even helps maneuver around curves, through waterways, or in weedy areas. Steering is handled by the AutoTrac system while the corn head, with Row Sense, makes small adjustments to keep the machine on the row to maximize harvest, even in down corn.

JDLink™ Machine Messenger
Also available from John Deere Ag Management Solutions for your John Deere tractors is a wireless communications system, JDLink Machine Messenger. This cellular and Web-based communications system enables effective management of a fleet of equipment—whether it is a fleet of two, 20, or 200 machines. The system will report machine location, usage, and productivity information along with diagnostic codes. JDLink Machine Messenger is one of many system solutions from John Deere to enhance the productivity of your machines.
Two levels of JDLink functionality exist.
JDLink Select is an all-makes solution that provides equipment hours, location, and maintenance alerts features. JDLink Ultimate is compatible with certain John Deere vehicles and adds the features of diagnostic trouble codes and machine utilization data.
